Dear Readers,
Congratulations go to Alison in Milwaukie, Oregon, winner of my April contest. I
didn’t know there was a Milwaukie in Oregon, but the whole state is so scenic, I
bet it’s a nice place to live.

Mother’s Day
will soon be upon us, which means our thoughts turn to that most important
person in our lives. One of my few regrets is that my mother wasn’t alive when I
sold my first book back in 1991. She would have been so happy for me. I’m sure
she would have read every book I’ve authored, and very likely she would have
found some of the love scenes I’ve written. . . enlightening. Goodness, I can
hear her giggling now.
I hope you
have a mother to share the love of books with and children to whom you’ve passed
on the same joy.
